Lectotype (designated by Dietrich et al. 1997):— BRAZIL. Rio de Janeiro: Tijuca, 1868, Glaziou 2568 ( P00723497 digital image, isolectotypes BR0000008698513 digital image, R000010173 digital image).

Distribution: —C Nepal, E Nepal, Yarlung Zangbo-Brahmaputra.

Note: —In the protologue of Oenothera glazioviana, Micheli (1875) cited one gathering ( Glaziou 2568), which contains multiple sheets deposited at P, G, BR, R, and FI. Dietrich et al. (1997) referred to one sheet in P (P00723497) as the “ holotype ”, and the other duplicates in BR, FI, and G as the “isotype”. This can be considered as inadvertent lectotypification under Art. 7.11 and 9.10 of the ICN ( Turland et al. 2018).
