World distribution. Argentina and Chile.
Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Biobío to La Araucanía region ( Fig. 103 View FIGURE 103 ).
Altitudinal range. From precordillera to the highland ecosystems ( 1,400–2,800 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. All basic aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown.
Conservation status. EN under B2ab (iii) using AOO = 8 km 2 and two localities (or subpopulations).
