Megabahita stylata : holotype ♂, “ Bolivia | Santa Cruz | 21-IX-1980 ” “ Donald Foster coll.” “Holotype | Megabahita | stylata | DeLong” ( OSUC) ; paratype ♂, “ Bolivia | Santa Cruz | Est. Exper. Saavedra | 9-IV- 1979 ” “ D. Foster coll.” “Paratype | Megabahita | stylata | DeLong” ( OSUC) .

Notes. After studying the holotype and paratype of Megabahita stylata ( Fig. 5 ) and the holotype of Sanestebania rotundiceps , it was concluded that those specimens are conspecific and these names are therefore synonymized herein. Megabahita stylata is now the junior synonym, and hence is considered invalid. Sanestebania can be distinguished from Megabahita by the male pygofer without ventral processes (always present in Megabahita species); style with apophysis apex much longer than rest of style, and aedeagus with apical processes (absent in Megabahita ).
