Sany Bucsek, 2012 , Erebidae , Arctiinae of Malay Peninsula – Malaysia: 123.

Type species: Lithosia brevipennis sandakana Draudt, 1914 , by original designation.

Diagnosis. Species of the genus ( Figs 36–38 ) are externally very similar to Brunia (Brunikatha) subgen. n. ( Figs 5–21 ) and Bucsekatha gen. n. ( Figs 22–35 ), and identification requires the examination of the genitalia structures. Sany is morphologically similar to Bucsekatha gen. n. and the detailed comparison is provided above in the diagnosis of the latter genus.
