Distribution & Ecology — Justicia scabrida is recorded from D.R. Congo, Zambia and Angola; in Angola it is found in Lunda Sul and Malange provinces. It is found in fire-prone woodland

and bushland including miombo woodland and in open, tall grassland as well as in fallow fields.
