Male. Abdominal segment VIII entirely covered with setiferous punctures, except a narrow medial longitudinal impunctate band; posterior margins of tergite VIII emarginated medially, that of sternite VIII arcuate backwards(Fig. 13-1A, B). Tergite IX symmetrical, connected mediobasally. Sternite IX symmetrical, with sharppointed base and subtruncated posterior margin (Fig. 13-1C). Tergite X with gradually narrowed base and broadly arcuate posterior margin, in situ broadly exposed between tergite IX (Fig. 13-1D). Median lobe of aedeagus oviform and oblong, medium sized (Fig. 13G, H; Fig. 13-1E), basal piece with transparent, membranous mediallongitudinal band (Fig. 13D); basal bulb 1.57 mm long, anterior portion subcylindrical, 0.43 mm, 1/5 of basal bulb (Fig. 13E, F). Parameres symmetrical and short, slightly longer than 1/3 of basal bulb. Internal sac elongate, curved, and densely spinulate.

Female. Posterior margin of sternite VIII (Fig. 13-1F) gradually sharpened backwards. Genital segment large sized (Fig. 13G), 0.90 mm long, sternite with slightly sharp base, supplementary sclerites subtriangular and large sized, 0.41 mm long, overlapped 2/3 part of basal margin of genital sternite.

Distribution. China ( Fujian, Jiangxi, Ningxia); Japan; Korea.

Remarks. This species could be distinguished from its congeners by the following character combination: 1) body black (Fig. 13A–C), except elytra yellowish; 2) frontal furrows deeper than anteocular furrows; 3) neck wider, subequal to 1/2 of head width; 4) tergites III–VII covered with mixed microsculpture of transverse and isodiametric meshes; 5) posterior margins of tergite VIII emarginated medially; 6) sternite IX with sharp-pointed base and subtruncated posterior margin; 7) tergite X with gradually sharpened base and broadly arcuate posterior margin; 8) median lobe of aedeagus oviform and oblong, basal piece with transparent, membranous mediallongitudinal band; 9) anterior portion subcylindrical and oblong, 1/5 of basal bulb; 10) internal sac oblong, curved and densely spinulate.
