TD: lectotype, male , ZMHU (errorously mentioned as female holotype from NHMUK by de Lajonquière (1979a).
Distribution in India: West Bengal (Darjeeling), Sikkim ( Hampson 1892, Mandal & Maulik 1997); Central Himalaya ( Sanyal et al. 2018); Manipur ( Irungbam et al. 2020). Global records: Nepal, southern China, Bhutan, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Peninsular Malaysia ( Hauenstein et al. 2011).
