Microphylellus biobioensis Carvalho, 1984: 176 View in CoL (n. sp.).

The synonymy of Microphylellus with Plagiognathus View in CoL leaves the placement of this species from Chile in question. The genitalic illustrations provided by Carvalho ( 1984) indicate clearly that biobioensis View in CoL is not a Plagiognathus species.
