1. Stems and leaves sparsely pilose to glabrescent; inflorescences densely tomentose. Peduncles shorter, only to 5 mm long. Corolla View in CoL white.................... b. var. jonkeri a. var. zollingeri

Distribution — Malesia: East Java (Mt Baluran in Besuki), Lesser Sunda Islands (Bali, Sumbawa, Timor) (Van Ooststroom & Hoogland 1953).

Habitat & Ecology — In thickets, from sea level to c. 30 m (Van Ooststroom & Hoogland 1953).
