Distribution — Malesia: Southwest Celebes, Lesser Sunda Islands (Timor, Wetar) (Van Ooststroom & Hoogland 1953).

Habitat & Ecology — Creeper. In thickets up to c. 900 m (Van Ooststroom & Hoogland 1953). According to Walsh (specimen Walsh 373, BM), the plant was common throughout Timor at the date of collection, 1929; sadly, more recent reliable data are not available to inform on the present abundance of the species in the island.

Vernacular names — Lololi; non laku; non loli (Timor: unknown dialect); sekal zon (Bunaq).
