Distribution. MEXICO: Veracruz.

Remarks. Chrysina badeni (Boucard, 1875) was reidentified by D. Hawks (27 August 1999) as C. alfredolaui (Hawks, 1995) . The true C. badeni (Boucard, 1875) is absent from the Natural History Museum collection.
