Distribution. MEXICO (14): Guerrero, Hidalgo, Durango, México, No Data. NO DATA (1).

Remarks. Lectotype of Pelidnota amoena Sturm, 1843 and Pelidnota aeruginosa Sturm, 1843 were designated by Hawks (2001). These type specimens were not reported by Moore et al. (2017). The type material of the senior synonym Chrysina peruviana Kirby, 1828 is stored in the Hope Entomological Collections at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History (OUMNH), and is not with most other Kirby material in the BMNH.
