Distribution: Australasian. New Zealand.
Larval host plant(s): Unknown.
Figs.: Hudson (1928).
Remarks: The wing pattern shows similarities to other species of the Elachista bifasciella group which occur in New Zealand.
Current status: Elachistinae , incertae sedis.
