Subgenus: Elachista View in CoL ; bifasciella View in CoL species group.
Distribution: Holarctic. Austria, Finland, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia (North Ural, South Siberia), Slovakia, Sweden, U.S.A. (Alaska, New Hampshire).
Larval host plant(s): unknown.
