Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia (European parts, Caucasus, Transbaikalia, E. Russia), Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.

Larval host plant(s): Deschampsia flexuosa (L.) Trin. ( Poaceae ) ( Traugott-Olsen & Nielsen 1977).
