Remarks: The monotypic genus Illantis was based on the species picroleuca Meyrick, 1921b: 187 . The holotype is without abdomen, but the external appearance is in all respects similar to species of Elachista sg. Elachista , in the saccahrella species group. On this basis Illantis is considered as a junior subjective synonym of Elachista Treitschke.
