Distribution and year: Okavango Delta 2000 ( Appleton et al. 2003).
Geographic range: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe.
Habitat: Freshwater.
Notes: The molluscs are common in a variety of waterbodies such as rivers, streams and lakes ( Kristensen et al. 2010 a). In the Okavango Delta, the species was collected underneath leaves in deeper parts of the lagoon ( Appleton et al. 2003).
Type locality: Victoria Falls , Zambezi River, Zambia (Walker 1912) .
