Agriocnemis pygmaea View in CoL Ramb.
Beisan, ♂, 11.vi.22. Dr. Buxton tells me that Beisan, which lies east of Mt. Gilboa, is about 400 ft. under sealevel, a t the edge of a little plateau full of springs and marshes. The Jordan just east of it is some 300 or 400 ft. lower.
This single ♂ agrees with specimens from India. The species (or at least with closely allied forms) has a wide range, reaching Queensland, the Phillipines and Formosa. It has been recorded by Campion from 'the Seychelles, but not, I think, from Continental Africa.
