Type locality and habitat. P. jeanneli: Port Hopeful, Port Louison and Ile du Port, Kerguelen Islands, Indian Ocean , 10, 13 and 18 February 1939, on stones at low tide; H. ( A.) watsoni : Macquarie Island, [between Australia and Antarctica ], on algae on coastal rocks; under rocks on the beach; in mud; in nest of Pachyptila desolata [Aves: Procellariidae ]; in litter of Colobanthus muscoides [ Caryophyllaceae ], Poa annina and Poa foliosa [ Poaceae ].
