– Acer monspessulanum is a tree of Mediterranean origin. In Ukraine, it is grown in the steppe zone and is occasionally found in botanical gardens and arboretums, where it sometimes produces self-sown offspring. New for Ukraine as a casual alien, escaped from cultivation.
