Description ( Figure 3 D, E): Protoconch is prominent and its axis is tilted with respect to teleoconch. Shell is small, tall and turriculate, consisting of up to 8 teleoconch whorls. Protoconch of “ type A”. Sculpture consisting of 12, opisthocline axial ribs. The sutures are well impressed. Each whorl with convex side and looks like beads. The aperture is slightly rectangular, with the base slightly flaring. Columella with a gentle curve and without any teeth. There is no umbilicus.
Colour: white and bright.
Distribution: Japan ( Nomura, 1937)
