Neto) ( BDC, dry mounted); 26♂, 53♀, 2 immatures GoogleMaps , Várzea de Aljezur , 37°18'19.8"N 8°47'52.1"W, 9–12.ix.2024, Atriplex prostata (leg. D. Burckhardt, B. Duarte & D.L. Queiroz) ( BDC, NHMB, dry mounted and 70% ethanol) GoogleMaps . Madeira: 1♀ , Santo da Serra , 680 m, 25.x.1992 (leg. C. Lienhard) ( MHNG, dry mounted) .
Distribution Portugal. Madeira: Madeira Island ( Loginova 1976, as Trioza chenopodii ; this study); Porto Santo ( Loginova 1976); Selvagens Islands ( Aguiar et al. 2019). Mainland: Aveiro (iNaturalist, Appendix 1); Faro (this study).
Host plants Portugal. Amaranthaceae : Atriplex prostrata Boucher ex DC. , Chenopodium album L. ( Loginova 1976), C. murale (L.) S.Fuentes, Uotila & Borsch, Suaeda vera Forssk. ex J.F.Gmel. ( Aguiar et al. 2019) .
Comments. Loginova (1976) cited the genus Atriplex as a host plant for this insect in north Madeira. According to Aguiar & Martin (1999), A. prostrata is the only species of this genus present at this locality.
