Zodarion segurense Bosmans 1994: 122 View in CoL , figs 13–15, 89–90 (♂ ♀).

Material examined. SPAIN: 1♂, 1♀, Cazorla, Jaén, V .1979, J. Murphy & F. Murphy leg., MMUM-18764, G7572.12841; 1♀, labeled as “Sierra, Cazorla, Segura, 1800 m a.s.l., 23.V.1968, J. Murphy & F. Murphy leg., MMUM, G7512.1 View Materials .

Diagnosis: Zodarion segurense can be easily separated from other members of the styliferum group by the tibial apophysis, with a distinctively widly truncated tip visible in the ventral view ( Fig. 34Q View FIGURE 34 ), and a flat arch-shaped median apophysis ( Fig. 34Q View FIGURE 34 ). Females of Z. segurense can be easily distinguished from the closely related Z. gregua by the epigyne, which is approximately 1.3 times wider ( Figs 38I View FIGURE 38 , 41H View FIGURE 41 vs. Figs 38E View FIGURE 38 , 41E View FIGURE 41 ).

Description: For a detailed description of the habitus and male palp, see Bosmans (1994). Epigyne ( Fig. 41H View FIGURE 41 ): Epigynal plate mushroom-shaped, anteriorly limited by a pair of touching margins, posteriorly gradually widened. Sides of the epigynal plate distinctly S-shaped. Epigyne with a short antero-median septum, accompanied by a pair of copulatory openings on antero-lateral sides of the septum; these copulatory openings linked to a pair of lateral pits by connecting grooves.

Distribution: Spain.
