Discussion Trachinus armatus today lives along the shores of West Africa from Senegal to Angola ( Schwarzhans & Kovalchuk, 2022) but has also been tentatively recorded from the Middle Miocene of the Aquitaine Basin ( Steurbaut, 1984).
