TYPE LOCALITY. — Brazil, Amazonas, Manaus.

DISTRIBUTION. — Widespread in Amazonia.

TAXONOMIC REMARKS. — This is a vast species complex and the population from French Guiana probably belongs to an undescribed species ( Jungfer et al. 2013).

HABITAT IN MITARAKA. — This is an explosive breeder and several individuals were found wandering in the underwood throughout the study area.
