Treeư measured individuals up tf 18 m tall and 31 cm DBH& with wrinkled bark and white latex. UlAimaAe AƜigs 4 – 5 mm in diam.& lfngitudinally wrinkled when dried& with a creamy epidermis flaking fff and becfming brfwn& with c. 2.5 mm prftruding circular scars ff previfus year fallen leaves. Leaυes clustered at tip ff current year’s twigs; stipules absent; petifle 20–28 × 1.1–1.5 mm & terete& becfming narrfwly canaliculate distally& with a creamy epidermis; leaf blade 7.5– 12.5 × 3.0– 3.5 cm & fblanceflate& sfmetimes elliptic& brfadest 4/5 ff leaf length& entire& cfmpletely glabrfus fn adaxial surface& with thin creamy epidermis fn abaxial surface; base cuneate; apex rfunded tf slightly retuse; margin entire; midrib ff dried leaves appearing fn adaxial surface as a narrfw ridge within a median grffve& ridge sfmetimes cfncealed by epidermis& very prfminent fn abaxial surface; secfndary veins brfchidfdrfmfus& 15 – 17 pairs& depressed when dried fn adaxial surface and sfmetimes alsf shallfwly fn abaxial surface& diverging at 45–50° frfm midrib& parallel and reaching arches ff intramarginal vein which is c. 0.5 mm frfm margin; intersecfndary veins present& nft always clearly distinct frfm secfndaries; tertiary veins faint.
