Material examined: 1♀ INDIA, Karnataka, Bangalore, Hebbal , 13.xii.2012, David, K.J ; 1♀ same data as previous except date 22.xii.2012 ; 1♀ 18.i.2013 ; 2♀♀, 2♂♂ 23.i.2013 ; 1♂ 02.ii.2013 ; 1♂ 07.ii.2013 ; 1♂ 21.iii.2013 ; 1♂ 23.iii.2013 ; 1♂ INDIA, Karnataka, Bangalore, Attur , 28.i.2013, David, K.J. ( NIM) .

Diagnosis: This species is similar to A. histrionica in wing pattern and scutal markings but can be distinguished from the latter by the presence of yellow spots at the bases of apical scutellar setae and fulvous femora. Epandrium sclerotized, dark brown to black surstylus laterally broad, proctiger larger than epandrium densely covered with fine hairs ( Figs. 23f, 24f View FIGURES 23−25 ). Phallus (1.2 mm long) with glans well developed and stout, triangular without distinct acrophallus and with praeputium absent, basal lobe present, subapical lobe absent ( Fig. 25f View FIGURES 23−25 ). Oviscape (1.98 mm long), flattened dorsoventrally, 12−16 small teeth-like projections on distal end of long eversible membrane (2.3 mm) ( Fig. 27g View FIGURES 26−28 ), 2 tightly coiled black spermathecae ( Fig. 28g View FIGURES 26−28 ), aculeus tip (1.99 mm long) with broadly pointed apex and four pairs of preapical setae ( Fig. 26g View FIGURES 26−28 ).

Comments: It was originally described from Thailand by Hardy (1973).
