Diagnosis: It is similar to A. ceratitina with a continuous costal band from cell sc to wing apex and a similar scutellar pattern but can be differentiated by the subapical band separate from costal band.
Comments: Described by Hardy (1973) from Thailand and recorded from India by David et al. (2020), who provided adequate illustrations including aculeus tip.
