Diagnosis. This species can be differentiated from the closely related A. striata by oviscape shorter than length of abdomen, scutellum with narrow yellow spots at the base of apical scutellar setae and dark fuscous tergite 3. Postabdominal structures were illustrated in David et al. (2014).
Comments: It was described from Bangalore, Karnataka and later collected from West Bengal, Kerala and Western Ghats of Karnataka .
