Host.— Onychomys leucogaster (Wied-Neuwid, 1841)
Description.—Oocyst wall smooth 1.1 (±0.1) thick. Sporulated oocysts 19.2–22.0 by 17.2–19.7, 20.1 (±0.6) by 16.5 (±0.9) and a length:width ratio of 1.2 (±0.05). Sporocysts 6.8–12.1 by 5.1–7.8, 9.8 (±1.4) by 7.0 (±0.6) and a length:width ratio of 1.1 (±0.05). See Figures 11 View Figures 11 and 12 and 12.
Prevalence.—This species was found in two of 10 (20%) animals examined.
Specimens deposited.—NP1259 and NP1426.
Location.—Intestine. Oocysts obtained from fecal sample.
Locality.— Infected Northern Grasshopper Mice were trapped on two occasions: 30 July 2013 [ Ackley Valley , Haythorn Ranch , Arthur County, NE] (41°12′00″N, 101°26′06″W) GoogleMaps and 23 July 2012 [2.4 km south of CPBS in the area known locally as the grama grass locality] (41°11′38″N, 101°38′56″W).
