REMARKS
Herbarium and types of Luis Née are at MA, some at B, C, FI and NY ( Stafleu & Cowan 1981), but related specimens have not been found.The diagnosis is very brief. However, Backer (1924) and Cheesman (1949b) consider that M. textilis is a good species. This commonly used name requires neotypification and a considerable amount of field study.
