Comment: For a long time the identity of this taxon followed its name, and no other African molossid was ever identified with
D. dubius
. Peters’ species description on the pullus specimen ZMB 85539 (see
figure 5
) is very questionable, so
dubius
is more appropriately a nomen dubium.
