Records from the study area: Kerala—Pešić & Ranga Reddy (2009).

Habitat: The single specimen was taken in interstitial waters. However, the well-developed eye pigment suggests that the surface habitat may prove to be the more typical one ( Pešić & Ranga Reddy 2009).

Distribution: India.
