All species transferred to Stenaphorurella by Luciáñez & Simón (1992) and by Khanislamova et al. (1997), e.g. S. quadrispina (Börner, 1901) , S. denisi ( Bagnall, 1935) , S. parisi ( Denis, 1943) , S. gibsoni (Murphy, 1965) , S. axelsoni ( Bagnall, 1935) , S. lubbocki ( Bagnall, 1935) and S. absoloni ( Bagnall, 1936) should be transferred back into Stenaphorura Absolon, 1900 .
