Material. 1 ♂, 1 ♀ ( ZMMU Rc 8220), Dagestan, Tarumovsky District, near Kochubey , swamp, N44°23', E46°34', 07–10. VI .2021, coll. OM.

Distribution. An European species, known also from Western Asia ( Muralewicz 1926, 1929; Zalesskaja 1973, 1978; Simaiakis et al. 2013); introduced in Iceland ( Eason 1970) and in Saudi Arabia ( Simaiakis et al. 2013). Russia: Kursk, Moscow, and Ryazan regions ( Zalesskaja 1978), and Dagestan (new).

Remarks. This species is new to the fauna of both the Dagestan and North Caucasus.
