LITERATURE RECORDS: El-Hennawy [1999]: 89 ( Iraq).
REMARKS: El-Hennawy [1999] erroneously added G. taurus to the list. This species was described from the specimens collected in Mesopotamien (Taurus, nördl. Diarbekr) [ Roewer, 1934]. Zilch [1946] resctricted the locality as “Taurus Gebirge : n. Diarbekr. Until further evidence is available, I regard G. taurus record as dubious.
