Myotis austroriparius are characteristic of eastern Louisiana, but there have been some reported sightings in the central and northern parts of the state. Stevens et al. (2017) reported new parish records for Beauregard, Caldwell, Catahoula, DeSoto, East Feliciana, Evangeline, Grant, Jackson, LaSalle, Lincoln, Richland, Sabine, St. Landry, Tangipahoa, Union, and Vernon parishes. Additional nonvouchered records were reported from Caldwell and Vernon parishes.

Silver-haired Bat
Lowery (1974) noted L. noctivagans from one location in Winn Parish. Since then, several surveys have noted occurrences throughout the state, in Vernon Parish ( Lance and Rogowski 1999) and in Cameron and Lincoln parishes ( Hoffman and Chauhan 2020). Stevens et al. (2020) reported several captures of L. noctivagans in the Kisatchie National Forest, however specific records were not provided in that publication. Those specimen records, all from Grant Parish, are provided here.
