Eastern Chipmunk
Tamias striatus are restricted to a small area of eastern Louisiana. Lowery (1974) reported specimens only from East Feliciana and West Feliciana parishes. Since then, a new specimen record was reported from Avoyelles Parish. Additionally, there was one nonvouchered record reported from Pointe Coupee Parish .
