Long-tailed Weasel
Neogale frenata have been noted in northern and eastern Louisiana, but should be considered to have a statewide distribution. Since Lowery (1974), a new specimen record was reported from Jackson Parish. Additionally, nonvouchered records were noted from Allen, Beauregard, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, and Vernon parishes.
