Material examined. Zavoloka, 22.06.2021, 1♀ (alcohol) ( V. Korneyev & Babytskiy leg.), 09.07.2021, 1♂ ( V. Korneyev leg.) .
Distribution. Most of Europe, except South ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Ukraine: Kyiv, Cherkasy ( Kameneva & Korneyev, 1985); Chernivtsi Region (first record).
Notes. Larvae in stems of Centaurea scabiosa and C. alpestris ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994). The second instar larvae migrate into stems from flower heads.
