2004). Ukraine: Kyiv; Cherkasy, Kharkiv (Korneyev &

Kameneva, 1985); Chernivtsi Region (first record).

Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Carduus crispus and C. defloratus ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994) ( Fig. 7). Overwinters as larvae.
