Material examined. Spaska, 23.07.2021, 1♀ ( V. Korneyev leg.) .

Distribution. Central and southern Europe ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Throughout Ukraine, sporadically; Chernivtsi Region (first record).

Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Centaurea scabiosa , C. alpestris and C. tenuifolia ( Asteraceae ); overwinters as larvae in flower head or rarely as adults (Merz, 1994).
