Distribution. Most of Europe ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Ukraine: Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk (Korneyev, 2016); Chernivtsi Region (first record).
Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Picris hieracioides and P. rigida ( ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994; Korneyev, 2016).
