Colaciticus Stichel, 1910 View in CoL is junior subjective synonym of Baeotis Hübner, [1819]
Despite different coloration and wing shape, which are probably due to mimicry, Colaciticus Stichel, 1910
(type species Monethe johnstoni Dannatt, 1904 )
originates deep within Baeotis Hübner, [1819] (type species Baeotis hisbaena Hübner, [1819] which is
Papilio hisbon Cramer, 1775 ) ( Fig. 24). Baeotis View in CoL is a well-defined prominent genus that we do not wish to split. Therefore, to restore the monophyly, we propose that Colaciticus Stichel, 1910 View in CoL is a junior subjective synonym of Baeotis Hübner, [1819] View in CoL .
