In the API 20NE system, positive reaction for hydrolysis of esculin (weak), oxidase activity and utilization of Dglucose, Larabinose (weak), N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, malic acid (weak) and trisodium citrate (weak). In the API 20NE system, negative reaction for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, hydrolysis of gelatin, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of D-mannose, Dmannitol, Dmaltose, capric acid, adipic acid and phenylacetic acid. Strain LPB0280 About LPB ( = NIBRBAC000503341) was isolated from soil in Seoul, Korea ( 37°35′5.01″N 127° 1′35.69″E).
