Nomenclatural status: Junior homonym of Agama spinosa Gray, 1831 and junior subjective synonym of Agama hispida ( Linnaeus, 1758) . The taxon name Agama spinosa Dumeril & Bibron, 1837 is not available for nomenclatural purposes within the genus Agama .
