Genus Africasia K. Viets, 1931

The genus Africasia has an Aftropical and Oriental distribution with 14 species known up to now ( K.O. Viets 1987, Smit et al. 2010, Pešić & Gerecke 2014). Originally the genus was placed in the Arrenuridae , but Cook (2001) proposed to shift the subfamily to the Athienemanniidae .
