Current combination. junior synonym of Phytodietus astutus (Gravenhorst 1829) ( Ichneumonidae : Tryphoninae ) ( Horstmann 2000).
Comments. Yu et al. (2016) incorrectly report the type depository as NHMUK. As Horstmann (2000) states, the holotype is in NHMN .
