Material examined. Altaiskiy Territory: 8 ♀, 1 ♂, 30 km S Kur’ya, Savvushka, 31.VII–1.VIII.2007, SAB ( ZISP); 2 ♀, 1 ♂, 40 km SSE Zmeinogorsk, Novoaltaiskoe, 6.VIII.2007, SAB ( ZISP).
Distribution in Siberia. *Altaiskiy Territory.
General distribution. All Europe, in the Alps up to 1500 m altitude; south to Sicily and Samos. Recorded also from Morocco in the West to Kazakhstan (Tian Shan Mountains) in the East.
Remarks. The material examined here is tentatively assigned to H. gredleri . It was compared with the types of the Dentigera species, which Morawitz (1876) described from Central Asia ( H. bivittatus , H. breviceps , H.
laticeps, H. nigritarsis , H. pallidicornis ), and no correspondence among these was found. A relationship with the European species is considered to be more likely.
