TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: of A. venustulus: Figline, Etruria and Vallombrosa, Palermo , Italy, in moss; of A. pannonicus: Moosbrunn , Austria, in the bank of the Jesuiten stream, in soil.

NOTE: specimens reported by Schweizer (1949: 57, 1961: 129) as Leioseius venustulus were described by Hirschmann (1962: 48) as Iphidozercon schweizeri (see below, species incertae sedis).
